I began my career developing point-of-sale systems with C++ and business software using Progress, working with green screen email and command interfaces. After several years, I transitioned into contracting, which provided opportunities to work on a diverse array of business applications across various industries. This experience required close collaboration with business stakeholders and a comprehensive understanding of both system architecture and local infrastructure, along with the challenges they presented.
My responsibilities spanned all aspects of system development, including database design, integrations, system merges, user administration, business engagement, problem-solving, system modifications, testing, release management, and training. As development platforms evolved from character-based interfaces (CHUI) to graphical user interfaces (GUI), continuous upskilling remained integral to my role. Seeking to further align with business needs, I transitioned towards Business Analysis and Project Management, frequently assuming Project Manager responsibilities as needed.
With the increasing scale and complexity of systems—whether integrating best-of-breed solutions or configuring CRM platforms like Microsoft Dynamics to address enterprise requirements—I adapted to ensure effective delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
I am passionate about assisting businesses and users in shaping, navigating, and successfully delivering technology-driven change. My expertise lies in bridging the gap between business and technology and mentoring those I have worked with. I hold qualifications including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, ISEB Business Analysis, Lean Business Analysis, and PRINCE2. Additionally, I continuously develop my knowledge through extensive reading and research. Throughout my career, I have frequently mentored and coached colleagues such as Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers, Change Leads, Testers, Developers, and fellow Business Analysts.

As a subject matter expert in change management, I collaborate closely with operational specialists and have observed that they frequently require support during periods of transition—assistance that is not always acknowledged by the Senior Leadership Team.
